Your role and responsibilities
Manage material plan and inventory, execute and optimize purchasing process, and support continuously improvement of value chain efficiency through cross-function collaboration and digital implementation on supply chain
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Material planning based on production plan and schedule. Manage the material forecast and proactively identify potential supply risk due to demand change or supply chain bottlenecks. Drive cross-functional actions to mitigate supply risk and secure continuous material supply
- Material purchasing process execution and continuous improvement. Implement various approaches to fulfill the operational requirements, e.g. VMI, JIT, Kanban and etc.. Collaborate with suppliers to improve process efficiency. Meet on time delivery KPIs and reduce suppliers’ lead time.
- Material inventory management to meet inventory & DIH KPIs. Apply inventory & safety stock model, and actively update inventory parameters based on the demand change. Ensure material stock accuracy, reduce aging stock and improve inventory efficiency and healthiness
- Implement digital tools along overall workflow, e.g. material planning & forecasting, purchasing process digitalization with suppliers, and data connection with suppliers to collaborate on end-to-end planning & inventories.
- Facilitate overall value chain optimization and improvement. Implement value stream mapping and analysis, reduce cycle time along the value chain and improve the supplier’s performance
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- At least 3 years working experience in buyer position or relevant areas, incl. material planning, purchasing and inventory management
- Digital tool & system project experience and implementation practice, e.g. SAP, PowerBI, POC, Ariba SCC, etc.
- Strong data analysis skills and logic thinking
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit

- Open-minded, innovative and continuous improvement spirit
- Good written and oral communications skills in English
