Job Summary
As a Project Manager in our Program Integration Management department, you will be crucial in advancing commercial stage projects. You will focus on seamless coordination between internal teams and external clients; oversee project lifecycles, ensure technical and quality standards are met, and act as a key liaison to maintain client relationships. Your work will directly contribute to the department’s goal of optimizing commercial production processes and delivering value to global clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner closely with CMC teams. Align project requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and facilitate late-stage price negotiations to ensure smooth commercial production workflows.
2. Communicate project progress, technical solutions, and quality benchmarks clearly. Address clients’ concerns proactively to maintain high-trust partnerships.
3. Develop detailed project plans covering small molecule synthesis, chemical processes, and production phases. Define milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress to mitigate delays.
4. Leverage small molecule and chemical process expertise to enforce quality standards. Identify technical, delivery, and cost risks early.
5. Conduct project reviews to document best practices, refine workflows, and resolve recurring challenges.
6. Use data analysis and stakeholder feedback to propose hiring, training, or process optimization recommendations for the department.
Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or higher, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or a related field.
2. 3–5 years of project management experience in small molecule production, chemical processes, or pharmaceutical commercialization.
3. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
4. Fluent English (verbal/written) to handle complex client communications and documentation.
5. Exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration, problem solving, and stakeholder management.
6. Basic data analysis/processing skills to drive continuous improvement.
