Responsibilities: - Own to structure the regional metal category strategy and lead strategy execution with suppliers deployed in coordination with various of business units and product line’s objectives. Construct the building of suppliers panel, organize associated marketing and pilot supplier selection according to business needs. - Drive the mechanical categories supplier’s performance follow-up, implement suppliers’ development and expansion, or reduction and consolidation plan consistent with proper business requirements fulfillment. - Develop and implement tools to improve commodity productivity-cost savings, as well as TCO mindset in cost improvement through negotiation, BCS, VAVE and so on. Directly own the productivity improvement target achievement. - Ensure the utilization of the supplier panel by various business projects. Negotiate general agreements with main suppliers, includes costing, payment terms, claims, VMI and so on. - Steer the category parts localization for cost savings with local supply agility and resilience increasing. But only own the strategy of localization and kick off the localization project and monitor the project executions. - Cross functional collaboration with the common opportunities/benefits identification, and competence to be increased for making it into reality. Global synergies for aligned and equipotent values. Supply risks management with strategical and practical ways. Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience and extensive knowledge of mechanical categories supplier base, strategic sourcing processes and cost reduction abilities. - Result oriented with strong written and oral communication, especially lobbying skills. Good English skills with fluent conversational communication ability. - Full understanding and abide the contents of commercial Code of Conduct and Ethics. - >5 years relevant sourcing or strategic purchasing experience, >3 years in automotive is must. - Role as local regional corporate experience than make site purchasing experience. - At least Bachelor’s in engineering or business-related education background. - No restrictions to travel and willing to travel. - Certificates in CPM or CPSM, 6-sigema, PMP, MBA as plus.
