Major Duties:
- This
position will be in Loader Powertrain design team, and responsible for
Engine and cooling system design for Product Delivery Process (PDP)
programs or Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
- This
position will be required to understand fundamental Engine and cooling
principles and need work with engine, Hydraulic, transmission and cab team
members.
- Work with
PV&V or Quality team to identify test items, help make test plans and
analyze test reports to make sure design meets requirements.
- Support or
directly work with cross team to Investigates product quality problems or
other vehicle issues happened on production line, PV&V machine or
filed customer machines, determines root cause, gathers and analyzes data
and implements corrective action to reduce or eliminate non-value waste
resulting from non-conformances, scrap or reclaim.
- Produces
and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and
performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications
together with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply
management and/or supplier personnel.
- Learns and
applies Company engineering policies and practices.
- This
position sometime needs to help / instruct other new employees on the PDP
process and technical skills development, if needed.
Required:
- Technical
experience relating to engine and cooling system. - 3 - 5 years
- Product
engineering experience. - 3 - 5 years
Desired:
- Experience
with construction equipment. - 1 - 3 years
Education

At least bachelor’s degree in
a Mechanical /Vehicle Engineering
discipline or equivalent experience
