Duties & Responsibilities
●Review and analysis the new technical requirements from customer and propose solutions and the derivatives scheme including structure/material/process.
●Execute product development of passive components /derivatives including optical/mechanical/process design and preform sensitivity/tolerance analysis and continuous scheme improvements
●Execute alpha/beta sample build, provide key control points/control method, solve technical problems and make continuous improvement to implement function and reliability on target
●Identify the process quality control points and specify the control scheme to ensure continuous quality improvements
●Periodic technical summarize on both optical and process, and continuously improvement product’ quality
●Continuously improve and deploy design/process and necessary tools to improve product quality and process efficiency
●Execute pilot production and conduct product reliability verification.
●Work with quality, engineering and manufacture teams to review the risks and implement improvements to secure the new product can be mass production.
●Establish standard process and prepare products/process document which defined key process point and valid controls to avoid the risks in the future mass production.
Qualification & Requirements
●Master’s degree (or higher) in Optics, Electronics, Semiconductors, telecommunication or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
●Outstanding graduates and experienced in optical communication device manufacturing or a related industry are preferred.
●Demonstrated experienced in optical design, components process design and improvements. Knowledge about Principle laser, Fundamentals of optoelectronic technology, fiber optics and engineering optics
●Demonstrated experienced in epoxy, laser wielding, components packaging design and process control.
●Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others
●Use Optical design software to simulate designs for fiber-optics components and analyze wave-guiding problems.
●Verbal and written English skills, including the ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and technical material in English.
