Disciplinary management and organization of the materials management department at Gao mi site
Responsibility for the availability and on time delivery of purchased parts for CMS production from both local Chinese and international suppliers
Handling escalations with suppliers in case of supply risks
Responsibility for inventory levels in CMS
Continuous improvement of processes with regards to operational KPIs (e.g. parts availability and inventory levels), based on the CLAAS Excellence System (CXS)
Design and implementation of (logistics) projects, e.g., in the context of supplier qualifications
Steering of ogistical supplier evaluation and development measures (e.g. logistics agreement negotiations, audits) in close cooperation with Purchasing and Quality departments
Shaping the long-term orientation of the division within the framework of the Global SCM strategy and Material Management Roadmap
Development of employees and flexibilization of deployment options
Personnel and cost planning
Job qualification
Successfully completed degree in industrial engineering, economics, logistics, or mechanical engineering
Several years of management experience in the field of production or materials management/ procurement
Extensive experience in project management
Good knowledge of the relevant SAP modules
Very good English skills
Strong communication, enthusiasm, and teamwork skills
High degree of flexibility, resilience, and ability to prioritize
Assertiveness with a convincing and diplomatic manner as well as strong negotiating skills
Willingness to change and ability to initiate and implement continuous improvements
Very independent and solution-oriented way of working
Willingness to travel extensively
