Beconnected is currently looking for a sock specialist to join our sock team based in Shanghai & Zhuji. In this position you will work on requests & orders for our license, brands and Private label customers from.
Responsibilities
1. Negotiating orders, prices and delivery schedule
2. Arranging full order follow up, checking critical path and keeping customer/supplier informed about steps to follow to ensure on time delivery
3. Making sure our administration system is daily accurate in MIS and in your files
4. Making sure we have the correct supplier base
5. Negotiating your own prices, knowing yarn process and knowing how factories calculate
6. Guiding business partners on sourcing trips when required
7. Together with QC making sure we assure the correct quality and checking the orders made.
8. Conducting sample evaluation in terms of fitting, measurement, construction / making method, workmanship & functional performance.
9. Being our ‘sock’ expert to provide technical support to clients, factories and colleagues
10. Being aware of REACH, testing standards, BSCI, Oekotex all European requirements
11. Foreseeing and preventing problems before production.
12. Being creative, flexible and solution oriented
Knowledge and skill requirements
61 Preferably you are based in Shanghai or Zhuji, China
61 You have in-depth experience in sock /hosiery production & order follow up for the international market
61 You are able to calculate prices for sock orders
61 You have good negotiation skills and experience
61 You have a broad knowledge on order follow-up and sales/customer requirements
61 You have a broad network in sock areas like Zhuji & Datang
61 You have a proactive hands-on mentality
61 You have an open, transparent and positive spirit
61 You have a clear, logical and solution-oriented mind
61 You can be self-supporting in daily responsibilities
61 You are able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English
