Position:
China Hipo Risk Management Standard (HRMS), Compliance & Operations Support Specialist
Job Summary:
Responsible for HRMS standardization and compliance support (tasks force) and IMS management (ISO, legal watch, intranet update, monthly OHS communication, WASABI, HiPo). Lead some task force to improve sites HRMS compliance. Can get some site direct supervision as OHS support and be given some ad hoc OHS requests. Support some contract in terms of OHS (inspections, audits, other OHS activities such as safety week)
Work duties typically include:
-Collect, organize and standardize HRMS related documents;
-Organize, lead and participate in HRMS support task forces to help improve HRMS compliance on Sites;
-Maintain and coordinate with the ISO certification for all ISO certified Sites (internal & external audit, corrective action follow-up and sharing);
-Maintain and update the China OHS website;
-Compile the monthly OHS communication newsletter;
-Watch on the OHS laws and regulations, provide the legal watch report in the monthly communication;
-Collect HiPo’s and RETEX from other BU’s, translate and share it in the monthly communication;
-Collect, preview, and organize WASABI’s from Sites for evaluation in BU and presentation to Asia, upload the selected BP’s to the Group Website;
-Site support (inspections on site, OHS in the Shanghai office);
-Support in OHS events, H&S Week, OHS Seminar, ad hoc request.
-Support OHS for some operational contracts: perform inspection, follow ups and other OHS activities and work with the HW and SL waste OHS business partner for this.
Preferred Qualifications
-Familiar with HRMS activities (knowledge of the Veolia ones would be a plus);
-2+ years experience in OHS with multinational company in managerial or training role;
-Strong proficiency in Office / Google-suite;
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to drive change with the team;
-Fluency in Chinese and capacity to exchange in English;
-Certified national safety engineer or equivalent certificate as a plus.
