1. Response for the new business quotation, cost evaluation;
2.Analyze the cost of Bom that accurately reflect the annual demand quantity;
3.Optimizes overall cost of materials, Alternative proposal with the lower cost option;
4. Improve sourcing options by working with the internal engineering team and sales to add our preferred and or strategic suppliers to the customer's Approved Manufacturer's List;
5.Monitor, track and provide feedback on suppliers' performance on overall cost competitiveness, replying on time;
6.Understand supplier’s capabilities, market trend and technologies for assigned commodities;
7.Communicate the customer’s expectations to the suppliers. Conduct supplier audit/visits, certifications and performance reviews to develop and continuously improve supply base;
8.Develop Supply Chain strategies that are unique to customer or Business Unit strategies, Understand customers' business requirements and work with Sourcing Manager and GCM to determine the best approach to meet the customer needs. Influence customer's supply chain strategies to leverage those of us;
9.Work with GCM to quote new and existing components, Frequently re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities. Select suppliers based on overall cost and benefit including price, duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality and terms and conditions;
Requirements:
Colleague degree preferably in Electronics or Supply Chain Management;
More than five years of experience in material costing or purchasing in electronic component , or the relevant experience required;
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal English;
