Description & Requirements
The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that CLP China's digital projects support its business objectives and digital transformation roadmap. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager – Business Enablement, this role ensures that digital initiatives are effectively planned, executed, and delivered to support CLP China's strategic goals. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project timelines and budgets, and implements digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve user experience, drive innovation, and ensure efficiency, reliability, security, and compliance. Additionally, the Project Manager leverages industry best practices to continuously optimize digital transformation efforts.
Duties:
- As Oversee and manage digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are implemented and delivered on time to support digital transformation roadmap.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project implementation.
- Implementing digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve user experience, and drive innovation based on CLP China's digital project process.
- Managing project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure the efficient, stable, and reliable operation of digital systems and services, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and fulfilling the SLA.
- Ensure all mobility solutions comply with relevant regulations and security standards to guarantee system reliability and employee experiences.
- Leveraging industry best practices to continuously optimize digital transformation efforts and improve project outcomes.
- Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Power System Automation, Power Electronics, or equivalent. A master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in project management of digital transformation roles, especially in a large organization.
- Fluent in verbal Mandarin, with excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Knowledge of other languages (e.g., Cantonese) is preferred.
- Able to periodically travel to Hong Kong or Mainland China for meetings or workshops.
- Skilled in project management, change management, relationship management, and vendor management.
Experience:
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and platforms. Familiarity with mainstream IT and cybersecurity technologies and products such as Cloud Services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), ERP (Oracle/SAP/IBM/Kingdee), antivirus, anti-phishing, firewall, VPN, intrusion detection, and vulnerability scans, etc.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in managing large and complex digital projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery, especially in large organizations or multinational enterprises.
- Experience in developing, executing, optimizing, tracking, and monitoring the digital process.
- Extensive operations management experience, capable of efficiently overseeing routine digital platform services and support.
- In-depth knowledge and enforcement of data privacy and security policies, with experience in ensuring digital platforms comply with global and China-specific regulations.
- Strong written, spoken, and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders at various levels and clearly conveying technical information and business requirements.
- Experience in multicultural environments, with the ability to understand and adapt to diverse cultural and business needs.
