? Responsible to carry out the duties as Food Safety Director per local China enterprise regulations ? Provide the overall site QA/QC leadership support and work in partnership with APAC/ Global Quality Systems & Governance. ? Accountable for all customers, certifying body audits and quality internal audits, and implementing corrective actions, as needed, to ensure compliance to all necessary requirements. ? Accountable to maintain GFSI certifications. ? Accountable for the maintenance of plant & lab analytical equipment and ensure compliance with test methods. ? Provide support and advice as need to Customer Advocacy, Sales, Product Management and Supply Chain concerning customer needs —— Qualifications & Other requirements: ? Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or customers. ? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. ? Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. ? Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, Chemistry or comparable required. ? 7+ years of related Quality Assurance Management experience (in a food or chemical manufacturing plant is preferred.). ? 5+ years’ experience as a people manager. ? Formal HACCP, PCQI, Quality System training is strongly preferred. ? A working knowledge of computers and business software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP is preferred
