Key Responsibilities
? Design and execute Wi-Fi test cases to evaluate product RF and protocol-level performance, focusing on factors that directly impact user experience (e.g., throughput, latency, stability, and roaming).
? Operate RF and protocol testing instruments, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, OTA (over-the-air) chambers for antenna performance, and Wi-Fi sniffers for protocol analysis.
? Analyze test results, identify performance gaps, and collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to drive improvements.
? Document and present findings in a clear and structured way, providing actionable recommendations for product optimization.
? Perform Wi-Fi RF compliance testing in accordance with China regulatory standards to ensure products meet certification requirements.
? Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methodologies, workflows, and automation frameworks (e.g., Python-based test scripts).
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
? 3+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing, RF measurement, or protocol performance evaluation (5+ years preferred).
? Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, OTA chamber) and performance tools (e.g., IxChariot, iPerf, Wireshark for traffic and packet analysis).
? Solid understanding of Wi-Fi standards (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and wireless communication fundamentals (RF, OTA, Antenna technologies).
? Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable improvements.
? Good communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
? Experience with wireless regulatory compliance testing (e.g., SRRC, FCC, CE) or automation scripting (Python, Shell, or similar) is a plus.
