About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Supplier Quality Auditor to join our team in Shanghai. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality management within the marine, automotive, or oil & gas industries, and will play a key role in supporting supplier development and ensuring quality standards across our supply chain.
The candidate will represent our company during visits and audits
Main Responsibilities
1. New suppliers and components certification.
? Work under the guidance of the Supplier Quality and Development Team based
at headquarters.
? Monitor the progress of new supplier and component certification.
? Conduct pre-industrial and certification audits.
? Tasks include:
o Performing supplier audits and capacity assessments.
o Reviewing production and quality manuals (QA/QC).o Supporting suppliers in setting up new production lines for our components.
o Assisting in resolving quality issues during new product launches and
projects.
2. Quality Management in Mass Production
? Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers at headquarters to follow up
production quality and components qualification.
? Conduct regular quality audits at supplier production sites.
? Support the SQE team in monitoring and guiding problem-solving processes to
prevent defects and ensure consistent product quality.
Job Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years of experience in supplier
quality management/ Quality Assurance in the Manufacturing Industry
? Hands-on experience in supplier audits.
? Able to work independently, with strong attention to compliance and safety.
? VDA6.3 certification is a plus.
? Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is preferred.
? Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, QCP, MSA, 8D, and VDA6.3 methodologies.
? Good command of English, both written and spoken.
? Strong communication and organizational skills.
? Experience in automotive, shipbuilding, or mechanical manufacturing
industries is highly preferred.
? Willing to travel frequently within mainland China (weekly basis).
? Certified auditor is preferred
? Team spirit and transparency
