Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Tianjin branch team and play a key role in supporting our accounting and financial operations. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice handling and reconciliation; maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records through accounting software and spreadsheets; supporting the preparation of periodic financial reports, statements, and summaries; reconciling bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies; assisting with payroll processing, including time tracking, salary preparation, and employee record maintenance; supporting sales tax and income tax filings; providing administrative support to the accounting team, including document filing and mail handling; participating in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entry input and account reconciliations; and collaborating closely with other departments to provide necessary financial support.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Assist in preparing regular financial reports, statements, and summaries.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Support payroll processing, including calculating hours, preparing paychecks, and maintaining employee records.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing documents, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (new graduates are welcome to apply).
- Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
