To set strategies, initiate and
optimize policies and rules for compliance management (including but not
limited to anti-bribery, data protection, export control, etc.) as
applicable to the company and its affiliates in other countries/regions,
to be in line with the law update and corporate needs;
To prepare and provide
trainings related to various compliance programs;
To conduct legal research on
the laws and regulations on compliance or corporate development related
matters;
To conduct investigation for
compliance related events and propose for solutions;
To support resolution of
dispute which occurs in connection with compliance related matters;
To initiate and craft new type
of templates to cater to the business needs;
To draft, review, interpret,
or prepare contract and other legal documents for all kinds of business
deals;
To provide auxiliary support
as instructed from time to time related to the legal and compliance
affairs.
Job
Requirements:
Major in law, with bachelor or above;
Solid working experience of 6 years or above in a reputable law firm, international MNCs or high-growth start-up, with at least 3-year solid experience focusing on compliance related matters, working in the industry of TMT, internet, cloud is a plus;
Strong drafting, negotiation and legal analytical and reporting skills;
Sophisticated in professional communication and work in a cross-functional team to achieve common goals;
Capable to appreciate and grasp concepts and principle of law from multiple jurisdictions;
Capable to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately, and to prioritize and respond to needs and align with goals of business;
Sense of urgency and time priority;
Capable and willing to work under pressure, with positive mind-set;
High accountability in managing tasks and achieving goals;
