POSITION SUMMARY:
The position holder is responsible for working as CAE engineer of NPD projects. He/She will be involved in the design team at the beginning of new product development. This engineer needs to work with product engineer closely and tightly and give support relative CAE simulation analysis including mold flow /Mechanical and electrical analysis. During the period of project development, CAE engineer needs to work out simulation result before executing kick-off the stamping die/ mold development. If there is some issue of product in mass production or design change required from customer, also need to give support to improve the design through CAE.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:
- Co-work with product engineering to do CAE simulation analysis to verify the design can meet the specifications and customer requirements.
- Seek new simulation software and methodology to improve the accuracy of simulation result, guarantee that the simulation results can match physical sample test results.
- Communicate with product/process engineers to understand the real issue and do some FEA analysis to optimize the product or process to improve the product quality and operating process efficiency.
- Communicate with manufacturing for technical support provided, problem solving assisted, and general program involved from Engineering department.
- Work with management to enhance the engineering capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS：
- Bachelor degree. With mechanical engineering major.
- At least 3 years of CAE experience for product, in connector field is preferred.
- Be familiar with connector including structural design, electronic performance.
