The UA / Credit Controller is responsible for the end-to-end activity from premium chasing, builds collection of reciprocal broker relationships and assist administrative supports to all lines of business of Corporate Business Division (backed up by AXA XL). The role holder is expected to engage and interact with a wide range of stakeholders. It will be crucial to collaborate with the underwriting community both in AXA XL and AXA Tianping, and the AXA General Insurance (GI) Asia Hub in order to best serve our customers and manage the internal business processes of AXA XL China.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
1. Credit Controller
? Responsible for Credit Control and Debt Collection:-
? Monitoring of premiums that fall due / overdue
? Send monthly broker statements
? Liaise with underwriters, brokers and management to progress collection process
? Reconciliation of brokers’ statement/payments made to offshore service centre
? Reconciliation of brokers’ statement/payments made to offshore service centre
? Monitoring & matching of receipts and unallocated receipts
? Liaising with team responsible for Premium Booking/Resolving Discrepancies
? Monthly reporting of credit control balances analysis
2. Underwriting Assistance
? Assist underwriters of all LOB in their information collection, risk analysis and other underwriting processes
? Assist underwriters of all LOB in pipeline management, liaising with AXATP branches when required
? Register risk information in the relevant systems of AXATP and AXA XL
? Be Middle Office to manage all other administrative works, including but not limited to policy issuance, receivable management
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
? Knowledge in the domestic Chinese insurance market, and insurance products such as Casualty & Property
? Highly driven, with a strong desire to learn, challenge and deliver
? Proficient in Chinese and English languages, both written and verbal
? Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating data clearly and accurately with the ability to extract & clearly articulate key points
? Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs
? Able to organize self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritization and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines. Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude
? Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally, establishing credibility amongst a wide and demanding client group
? Ability to learn what it takes to provide a consistently first-class customer service internally and externally
? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
