Address in Chinese and English legal and contractual risks within the China scope of the Plastic Omnium Division, covering all the traditional areas of the function of a Legal Counsel: o Contracts in Chinese & English regarding partnerships, development and supply (production component and raw material suppliers, specific tooling and capacity-tooling suppliers, non-production goods and services suppliers, etc.) ; o Advise and recommendation on matters related to product liability - Competition Law - Intellectual Property - Litigation & Dispute Resolution - Bankruptcy Laws, etc.. ? Position yourself as a Business Partner among the Divisions in order to contribute to the strategic objectives and decisions, by providing high-quality, proactive, business-oriented legal support ? Assist proactively in the implementation of the legal documentation, in monitoring internal policies and in the development of legal awareness within the Plastic Omnium Division: o Review and draft standard documents, templates & internal policies in Chinese and English; o Define and conduct training in Chinese and English in order to implement internal policies and develop legal awareness in the Plastic Omnium Division; o Develop and continuously improve knowledge and expertise in key areas of law that are central to the achievement Plastic Omnium’s strategy; o Provide legal compliance and risk prevention advice and assist the Group Compliance Team; o Assist in information security management; Team spirit and project management: o Interact constantly as a team player with the reporting China Group Legal Manager, the Asia Legal Manager and the Legal Operations Team to be fully aligned with the Plastic Omnium Divisions and the Group Legal Department strategy. o Visit the plants and local offices of the Plastic Omnium Divisions in Greater China in order to ensure strong connection with the legal function o Analyse the tools at the disposal of the business stakeholders and propose updates, improvements and new tools (templates, memos, trainings…) PROFILE REQUIRED ? Education Level: ? Master’s Degree in law (commercial, contract, international) from a reputed Law university ideally completed by a LL.M or a business school diploma overseas (Europe, Singapore or North America). ? China Bar Qualification is a Plus. ? Experience: o Around 5 years of experience in the legal department of an international company of the industrial sector in legal operations matters. o Experience in a law firm handling business law matters is a plus o Experience abroad is a plus. ? Skills and Competencies: o Fluency in Mandarin & English, verbally & in writing. French language is a Plus. o Understanding and exposure to a multi-cultural working environment o Organized, team spirit, high integrity & ethical values, excellent communication skills o Acquisition of “Business” and strategic mindset and negotiator.
